ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After leaving corporate America, I was turned loose to follow my passion for gardening which evolved into a second career as a free-lance garden writer and communicator. I had a regular gardening column for over five years in the local northwest Connecticut newspapers which reached over 15,000 homes. My articles can be found in numerous publications including Edible Nutmeg, People, Places, and Plants magazine, Connecticut Gardener, and other gardening publications. I now have another column that runs monthly in Fairfield County Times (the Connecticut coastal area).
I teach classes and speak to civic groups, garden clubs, and other organizations on subjects as diverse as Using Tropicals in Your Garden, Safe Solutions to Home Gardens and Landscapes, Foolproof Hydrangeas, and Organic Lawn Care. See my listing on GreatGardenSpeakers.Com.
My true love is the garden that my husband, Anthony, and I built and maintain in southwestern Connecticut. It’s been featured in People, Places, and Plants magazine and has been included in several horticultural tours.
